Kayla and Juan were SUCH a joy to photograph. I don’t say that lightly! Their personalities fit so amazingly together, and capturing just a small part of their love story was truly beautiful. The light was perfect at Mount Falcon Park this evening. I had only been here once before, and I knew I’d fall in love with it for how beautiful and diverse the location is.

The session started out with the best kind of golden light. I remember texting Kayla and somewhat freaking out because it was so perfect and I was so excited for them to get there, haha! They had the best fall-esque outfits on and I knew the session was going to be great. It was their first time getting photos taken together and you really would have no idea from how adorable they were with one another. 😉 We wandered around the trees and rocks, and eventually the sun went down behind the mountains. That golden light went away, and now we had ‘blue hour’ which is my absolute FAVORITE. The trees appear greener, and the mountains turn a gorgeous blue. We finished up in an area where the mountain views are just incredible, and caught a bit of the orange sky from the sunset. I’m SO in love with the colors from this Colorado couples session. It has me reminiscing back to those fall days where the air is crisp and the leaves are vibrant.

Moral of the story – I love their images so dang much, and I can’t wait for more beautiful couples sessions here as it starts to get nicer in Colorado! Who else is excited for spring/summer and to explore stunning mountain locations?! <3
