When my husband and I decided to get married, there was a 0% chance that we were going to have a traditional wedding with lots of guests. It just wasn’t us. Eloping on the coast with a stunning ocean view felt truer to our relationship, so that’s what we did! It was completely stress-free and perfect for us, so I know that elopements are incredibly special. They’re unique, custom-created based on what you want, and solely focused on the bond between you and your love. I truly believe that eloping is the best way to tie the knot, and I would LOVE to document your story!

Marine Corps boot camp
I realized how important
photos can be...
Nine years ago, my husband left for boot camp and we were apart for 13 weeks. We couldn’t see each other or even talk, so I started writing handwritten letters to keep in touch. I’m not going to lie, it was hard. I constantly looked through all of our photos together, and it was then that I realized their true importance. They brought me so much peace and comfort, so I decided to give my husband the same. Wallet-sized photos of us and our life together traveled to boot camp in every single one of my letters, and they meant more than anything. This time in our lives sparked my love for capturing everyday moments, and I’m devoted to helping you and your soon-to-be spouse preserve your experiences together for a lifetime.

I’m really into personality tests because I love that they can give us a clearer insight and understanding into who we are! I’m a Myers-Briggs INFP and an Enneagram 4.
I have a German Shepherd named Titan who I love SO much. Yes, you can totally bring your pets along for the adventure!
I lived in Okinawa, Japan and fell in love with the culture. My time there sparked my love of travel, and I would even consider moving back one day.
Even though I live near the gorgeous mountains, my heart has always belonged to the ocean. My dream home destination would be in the woods, not far from the coast!
I hike often when I'm not photographing couples. My favorite hikes are the ones through the forest that open up to a beautiful alpine lake. Passing all of the stunning wildflowers is the best bonus!

I cannot find the words to describe our day with Lauren. Seriously, she has been so amazing to work with since the first day I messaged her about taking our elopement photos. I gave her ideas of what kind of setting we wanted and she was SO VERY helpful recommending locations. Everything was so easy-breezy from day one. When our day came around, she was so extremely patient with us (I'm forgetful and usually late everywhere I go). We had to do a little last minute change of plans because of that, but the day turned out perfect. We were in love with every location we went to. She made us feel so comfortable, and she really is the sweetest person I have ever met and our adventure with her was so fun! I want to do it 1000 times over. Oh my, where to start….not sure how I stumbled across Lauren but I’m so glad I did. Lauren took our engagement and wedding pictures and they are my absolute favorite. We had to reschedule because of COVID in 2020 and she was so understanding and worked with us through it all. I’ve been in the wedding industry before so I’ve been exposed to many vendors (including photographers), so I can tell you that Lauren is an absolute dream to work with. She made us feel so comfortable and like we were long lost friends just hanging out. Honestly, if I lived in Colorado I’d want to be best friends (not weird right?). We were only around them for less than a day, but Lauren and her husband were such genuine and kind hearted people. We will forever be grateful for the moments she captured of our wedding. Lauren is beyond anything I could put into words. I reached out to her to plan an adventure elopement and from our very first interaction, I knew we wanted to hire her. Lauren answered every single question I asked (and trust me, there were MANY) and she never once made me feel like a burden. We live in Illinois so we were very unaware of the Colorado laws, best places to go, etc. She helped us find the locations of our dreams and our pictures are better than anything we could've ever wanted. All we knew going into our wedding planning process was that we wanted to get married in Colorado. Lauren helped us pick a location, suggested vendors, and answered all our questions along the way! We were supposed to have a sunset elopement in Breckenridge, but the few days leading up to our ceremony just kept showing increasing chances of thunderstorms for our ceremony. On 12 hours notice Lauren let us change to a sunrise elopement, and even offered to reschedule for the one of next two days so we could still get our sunset ceremony. Our ceremony was very relaxed, and Lauren made sure to check in with us and make sure we got every kind of photo we wanted along the way.
