You can be celebrating an engagement, anniversary, milestone, or just want to have an awesome date day together - I’ve got you! We can hike, explore, or set out for a scenic destination, but no matter what, I’ll capture it all.

05. Following your session, you'll receive a preview gallery within 2-3 days, and your full gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks. You'll have access to your personal website with unlimited downloads.
02. Reserve your adventure session date! You’re officially booked in my calendar with a $500 retainer and signed contract.
03. After booking, a planned location guide will be sent your way, and I’m always around to offer outfit advice. It’s not every day that you get epic portraits taken, and I’m here to support you in any way that I can.

Heck YES. The majority of couples feel this way, and while I completely understand feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera, I promise you have nothing to worry about. I’ll be guiding you the whole time! I’ll help you focus on being together and enjoying your experience, and trust me, amazing photos will follow.
What do we do if there’s bad weather?

Colorado mountain weather can be pretty unpredictable - it's a whole different world at 8,000+ft! If the forecast shows really bad weather (i.e. heavy rain, thunderstorms, blizzard conditions) then we can pick a new location where the weather looks better, or reschedule the date. If the forecast shows light rain or snow, we will make the most of your day regardless of the weather. I will make sure you’re completely prepared with the proper gear! I have weather sealed gear, umbrellas for us all ready to go, and I promise we'll have a blast despite what Mother Nature throws our way. Also, overcast days are some of my FAVORITE days because the light is even and beautiful, so don’t worry about heavy clouds either!
What’s your editing style?

My editing style consists of true-to-life colors and tones. I love pops of color and contrast, and aim to keep accurate skin tones. I choose to edit this way because I don’t want your photos to look outdated 10+ years from now with filters or harsh color changes. Many couples choose to get portraits taken for the epic landscapes, and it’s really important to me to preserve all of its natural beauty.
How are our photos delivered?

You’ll receive professionally edited, full-resolution images through an online gallery link complete with downloading instructions. You can download the photos through this link as many times as you’d like, and you may send it to loved ones as well!

I cannot find the words to describe our day with Lauren. Seriously, she has been so amazing to work with since the first day I messaged her about taking our elopement photos. I gave her ideas of what kind of setting we wanted and she was SO VERY helpful recommending locations. Everything was so easy-breezy from day one. When our day came around, she was so extremely patient with us (I'm forgetful and usually late everywhere I go). We had to do a little last minute change of plans because of that, but the day turned out perfect. We were in love with every location we went to. Oh my, where to start….not sure how I stumbled across Lauren but I’m so glad I did. Lauren took our engagement and wedding pictures and they are my absolute favorite. We had to reschedule because of COVID in 2020 and she was so understanding and worked with us through it all. I’ve been in the wedding industry before so I’ve been exposed to many vendors (including photographers), so I can tell you that Lauren is an absolute dream to work with. Lauren is beyond anything I could put into words. I reached out to her to plan an adventure elopement and from our very first interaction, I knew we wanted to hire her. Lauren answered every single question I asked (and trust me, there were MANY) and she never once made me feel like a burden. We live in Illinois so we were very unaware of the Colorado laws, best places to go, etc. She helped us find the locations of our dreams and our pictures are better than anything we could've ever wanted. All we knew going into our wedding planning process was that we wanted to get married in Colorado. Lauren helped us pick a location, suggested vendors, and answered all our questions along the way! We were supposed to have a sunset elopement in Breckenridge, but the few days leading up to our ceremony just kept showing increasing chances of thunderstorms for our ceremony. On 12 hours notice Lauren let us change to a sunrise elopement, and even offered to reschedule for the one of next two days so we could still get our sunset ceremony. Our ceremony was very relaxed, and Lauren made sure to check in with us and make sure we got every kind of photo we wanted along the way.
