Boulder Colorado Anniversary Photos

I absolutely loved photographing Marissa and Lance’s Boulder anniversary session! This gorgeous couple spent a sunny summer evening with me at one of my favorite locations in Boulder. The greenery that surrounded us was so colorful, and it complimented their outfits incredibly! I mean… how gorgeous is her blue floral dress?! I’m a sucker for the color blue, so the combination of all the colors and light was phenomenal.
We hiked down to the lake area together, and the water was extremely calm. The reflection of the mountains and trees over the water honestly took my breath away. The sun was shining BRIGHT, and it was truly the most beautiful scenery to take in! After hanging out by the lake for a little while, we hiked back up and drove over to a different spot. At this point, golden hour was shining through the trees and the combination of blue in Marissa’s dress with the orange sunlight was pure magic.
As the sun was going down, we climbed over some rocks to the most beautiful lookout of the lake and mountains. Don’t these views just completely take your breath away?! It really NEVER gets old for me, and I love watching couples take in the beauty for themselves. The wildflowers were also in full bloom, so of course we had to take some photos surrounded by them.
