Rocky Mountain National Park Winter Elopement
Ashley and Nick traveled to beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park for their late fall/early winter elopement!
We started their Colorado elopement in one of my favorite open meadows. This area has panoramic mountain views and a winding river that freezes over this time of year. The wind was crazy this day, and we could really feel it being in the open meadow. That definitely did not stop these two from having fun! They were ALL smiles, and couldn’t stop giggling with each other! There’s always something about ‘unideal’ weather conditions that typically causes couples to break out in laughter because what else can you do but roll with it and have a blast?! The wind also made Ashley’s gorgeous skirt blow around like crazy, which was great for photos!
3M Curve Elopement Ceremony
After leaving the meadow, we headed over to 3M Curve for their elopement ceremony. 3M Curve is one of my favorite ceremony locations in Rocky Mountain National Park. There are stunning views of the mountains, including Longs Peak, the highest peak in Rocky Mountain National park at 14,259ft in elevation. The wind died down significantly, and Ashley and Nick shared their heartfelt vows together. Afterwards, they popped champagne with the biggest smiles, and we finished their day at sunset with a little snow ball fight! I had a blast with these two, and I’m so happy they followed their hearts and eloped with just each other in the beautiful mountains!
