Colorado Hiking Elopement
Kylie and Gareth were one of the many couples who had to change their original wedding plans in 2020. They decided to do a destination elopement in Colorado, and we planned their hiking elopement in less than two months! When I spoke with them about what they were really looking for in a location, greenery with beautiful mountain views was their top priority.
They went back and forth on location options, and decided to ask me to chose a location for them. Seriously, what an honor!! They trusted I knew the best option for them based on their vision. I found this incredible hike in Estes Park, filled with greenery and wildflowers and gorgeous views, and knew it would be the perfect location for them.
After hiking to the first viewpoint, Kylie and Gareth shared their private vows and were officially married! We continued hiking up the mountain to another stunning viewpoint of the Rocky Mountains. It quickly became overcast with some storms rolling in, but we were prepared with umbrellas and rain jackets. It lightly rained on our hike back down, and they finished their elopement with signing their marriage license and a beautiful cake. They had an incredible day filled with the best views and all the love!
