This adventurous anniversary session totally has my heart. I’m in love with Christina’s white dress and the way it looks against the Okinawa waters. We started in front of the beautiful rock formations, and then quickly made our way to the actual beach to watch the sunset. The weather was amazing and there was beautiful, golden light! Christina and Steven went in the ocean, and I saw the sky was changing quickly from blue to orange.  Then, I started to see rain drops. At first, I couldn’t tell if it was from the waves crashing on them or actual rain because there was NO rain in the forecast . Welcome to island life haha! We realized it was actually raining and these two completely embraced it. They were already soaked from the ocean, so what else are you going to do than just have fun?! This is where my FAVORITE photo was taken. Steven lifting up Christina in the stunning blue water, where you can see the giggles in their kisses. UGH! I just love these moments so much. The ones where you can’t pose at all, and they just naturally happen as the session goes by.

The rain quickly passed and the ocean turned even more blue than before. That bright Okinawa blue that just takes your breath away. If you haven’t been to Okinawa, I absolutely promise that water is not photoshopped or over edited. The water really IS that incredible, and these two made it look even more incredible! Those last images of them rolling around in the sand are my other favorites. I will never, ever be upset leaving a session completely soaked and covered in sand because it means absolute magic was made. <3
